JAV NAPPING, 2023, 8 aluminum plate, diamond point engraving, (8x) 18 cm x 25 cm

The series Jav Napping was developed in 2023 within the work phase Eros Y Ambigüedad.

It consists of engraved drawings on eight aluminum plates depicting the sleeping ex-finacé. Emerging from a reciprocal practice in which the two artists repeatedly drew one another, the work unfolds through intimacy, observation, and repetition — an attempt to hold the other in moments of vulnerability, knowing that this closeness remains unstable.

Eros Y Ambigüedad is a multimedia body of work developed between 2021 and 2023, tracing the intimate experience of an amour fou across cultural displacement. It navigates obsession, dependency, violence, and the gradual erosion of the self — suspended between desire and loss, between presence and the threat of disappearance.
