The 1.65 m tall free standing sculpture will be composed of over 500 aluminum cut feathers inspired by a grey heron, and ceramic body fragments.

On February 8, the exhibition expands into a shared Open Studio event at Manuel Payno 128 in Colonia Obrera, featuring works and studio encounters by Manuela Riestra, Alexander Iskin, and Severin Hallauer.
The exhibition was made possible with the generous support of the Swisslos-Fonds SoKultur of the Canton of Solothurn (Switzerland), and the Open Studio event was additionally supported by mezcal brand Mono Araña.

VISIONS
The goal of the upcoming period is to create a multimedia exhibition. This explores the complex relationship between individual subjectivity and collective experience in times of „acceleration and alienation“ (Hartmut Rosa). The focus is on the individual in their subjectivity in relation to the collective and the ambiguity that this relationship entails between emancipatory factors such as the pursuit of independence and individuality and the need for „connectedness“ (Kae Tempest).

The exhibition deals with the experience of an amour fou between cultures, the change of perspective, the attempt and the failure, the violence, the obsession, the loss of oneself and the terrible silence in the face of the threatening death.
Through works in a variety of media, the artist intimately confronts the experience of his first great love, whom Hallauer met unexpectedly in Mexico and who had a decisive influence on his life in his new adopted country.
The artist relentlessly reveals his feelings, the overcoming of a traumatic experience and tries to reconcile with her in a poetic way.
In the spacious rooms of the Luis Adelantado Gallery, viewers are confronted with a video performance, a video, sculptures, installations, paintings and photographs and, not least, with themselves again.
