The video performance installation „Loving Switzerland Pt. I“ is part of a series of work shown in the exhibition “LOVING SWITZERLAND”. In it, Hallauer juxtaposes the view from the window of downtown Solothurn with the view of the Chicago skyline through the windows of a skyscraper. Hallauer makes this excerpt the background of his video performance recorded on October 30, 2021, which lasts about 17 minutes and is shown in a loop.
